Terms of service

Version 2026-08-19.3 · Bart's Bugs Be Gone

Who we are

Bart's Bugs Be Gone is a Bakersfield sole proprietorship operating under Kern County FBN 2026-B4291. California Structural Pest Control company registration 10200, Branch 2.

What you are buying

Your order is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Nothing renews automatically and your card is not charged again unless you place another order. The pests, areas, visits, and optional coverage included are the ones shown on your order.

Your acceptance of these service terms stays on file for 365 days and applies to later one-time orders you place during that period. It does not commit you to buy another service and does not authorize an automatic charge. You will be asked to accept again when the 365-day period expires or sooner if these terms materially change.

General household-pest service does not include termites or other wood-destroying organisms, bed bugs, German cockroach infestations, wildlife, or work outside the company's active licence and registration. A separate inspection, scope, and price may be required.

Scheduling, access, and preparation

Appointments use an arrival window, not an exact arrival time. You must provide safe access to the treatment areas and tell us about locked gates, animals, ponds, beehives, irrigation, alarms, sensitivities, or other conditions that could affect the work. If access or required preparation is missing, we may reschedule rather than perform an incomplete or unsafe service.

Pesticides and safety

Every pesticide is applied according to its label and applicable law. Before any pesticide application, you will receive a separate written notice naming the target pest, proposed product, and active ingredient. Follow the product-specific preparation and re-entry direction provided by the technician and label, including staying away from treated areas until dry when the label or technician requires it. Product labels and safety data sheets are available on request.

By separately checking the electronic-delivery authorization when you accept, you authorize service records and pesticide notices to be sent to the email address on your account. You may request a paper copy at any time.

30-day re-treatment guarantee

If the specific pest problem we treated returns within 30 days of the completed service, contact us within that 30-day period and we will return once to re-treat that problem at no additional charge. This is a re-treatment guarantee, not a money-back guarantee.

It does not cover a different pest, an excluded pest, a new infestation, inaccessible or untreated areas, or a continuing source or condition we identified and asked you to correct. An optional 45-day respray is a separate purchased service.

Payment, changes, and refunds

Payment is taken when the order is placed. Contact us as early as possible to reschedule; we request 24 hours' notice when practical and do not charge a cancellation fee.

All purchases are final and non-refundable except where California law requires otherwise. Completed service uses technician time, materials, and pesticide and is not refunded. An unused visit in a prepaid package remains a service credit on your account and will be rescheduled until it is performed; it does not convert to cash. You may choose a different offered date or use the 30-day skip option to return the visit to the next month's scheduling queue.

If the specific treated problem returns within 30 days, the remedy is one no-charge re-treatment of that problem—not a refund. Bart's Bugs Be Gone will not retain payment for work it cannot legally perform.

Property and responsibility

Tell us before service about fragile, valuable, hidden, or unusual property conditions. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or conditions that were not disclosed and could not reasonably be seen. To the fullest extent California law permits, total liability arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for that service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including gross negligence or willful misconduct.
